A Sheffield-based soft skills training provider ran on ACT!, Monday.com and spreadsheets, with nothing joined up. Here’s what replaced it.
- One record chain: leads, opportunities, quotes, orders and the training session itself all live in Dynamics 365 Sales, with courses held as product records
- Quotes that carry delivery detail: trainer allocation and course dates sit on the quote, and sessions can take more than one trainer
- Delegate requirements: dietary and accessibility needs tracked against attendees
- Pipeline automation: kanban-style stages, reminders for follow-ups and unsigned agreements, plus mail campaigns
- Integrations: Outlook, eSign for terms and order acceptance, Power BI dashboards, and Xero syncing invoices and payments
- AMS Grid in place of Monday.com, so there’s one less tool to licence
Enquiries from their website now drop directly into Dynamics, meetings write themselves into calendars, and certificates and documents come out of DCP. The build ran as three prototype rounds, each followed by its own training and migration pass, so the client shaped the next stage before we started it.
