Visualize data with the new hierarchy control
The legacy hierarchy control in model-driven apps allowed users to view self-referencing N:1 relationships in a clear, single view, helping them understand complex parent-child structures (e.g., accounts) without navigating across multiple forms. Although the control was deprecated in October 2024 and scheduled for removal in October 2025, no replacement was initially planned. However, Microsoft has since introduced the Hierarchy Relationship Visualizer, a new feature (not a direct replacement) now in public preview and set for general availability in October 2025 as part of the 2025 Release Wave 2.
