Usage of DIXF method in x++ and security – D365 FO

I had a issue when I called the code DMFUtil::GenerateExecutionId and DMFDefinitionGroupExecution::ExportToPackage in one of my custom class.

Export was generating the execution correctly when executed in admin role but it didn`t for a non-admin role.

On checking if the role has access to the Data management workspace, the answer was no. So I added ‘Data management Administrator’ role…
