Microsoft has announced the first price increase for Dynamics 365 products in five years. These increases apply to enterprise level subscriptions only from 1 October 2024.
These licences are not affected by this increase
All Business Central licences
Dynamics 365 Customer Service Professional
Dynamics 365 Sales Professional
Dynamics 365 Team Members
Microsoft have explained their reasoning in a blog post. The essence is:
In April 23 Microsoft harmonised their global currency pricing to be consistent with their USD pricing, this meant a 9% increase for GBP customers.
Here’s a breakdown of the price increases for the main Dynamics 365 products we use:
Pre-1 October 2024 price | Price after 1 October 2024 | % increase | |
Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise | £78.10 | £86.30 | 10 |
Dynamics 365 Sales Premium | £111 | £123.30 | 10 |
Dynamics 365 Customer Service Enterprise | £78.10 | £86.30 | 10 |
Dynamics 365 Field Service | £78.10 | £86.30 | 10 |
All your Dynamics licences have either a 1 month, 1 year or 3 year subscription period. When your subscription is renewed (after 1 October 2024), your price will increase to the new prices in the table above.
Please get in touch with us if you’re not sure when your renewal date is.
If you have a monthly commitment subscription
You should consider moving to a 1 (or even 3) year contract before October 2024. That way you’ll put off the price rise and get the cheaper annual licence price
If you’re considering buying a new Dynamics licence
It might be wise to buy your licence before October 2024 to lock in the lower prices for 1 or 3 years. Get in touch and we’ll help.
Nothing! Your price won’t change
No, your price remains the same
