How to Download and Install the .NET Framework?

Microsoft .NET Framework is a Windows-only version of .NET for building client and server applications.

In this article, will explain the steps to download and install .NET Framework on your PC.

Follow the below steps,

Step 1: Click here to navigate to .NET Framework downloads page.

Step 2: Scroll down to Supported versions.

Step 3: Click on the required .NET Framework Version.

Step 4: Click on Download .NET Framework 4.7.1 Developer Pack.

Step 5: Framework’s executable file will be downloaded automatically. If not, click on the link shown below.

Step 6: Click on Downloads to see the progress of the executable. Once it is successfully downloaded, click on it.

Step 7: Check the I agree to the license terms and conditions.

Step 8: Click on Install.

Installation is in progress.

Step 9: Framework installed successfully. Click on Close.

Step 10: Restart the PC.
