Experts Live 2023
Thursday, May 25, I had the honor of being 1 of the many speakers at Experts Live 2023.
The event actually started a bit on Wednesday evening, with the so-called speaker dinner. That was an evening to which all speakers were also invited, it was also possible to buy a ticket for this.
It was a pleasant evening with food, drinks and a nice band. It was also a great time to catch up with a lot of speakers who were present.

On Thursday was the event itself. Before Dona Sarkar’s keynote started, an opening film was also made this year. For those who have already seen it, there was also a cameo by a certain blog author ;-).
Unfortunately, the film is not online yet, but I will share it as soon as it is available. A nice experience also to do the recordings and then see the end result on a big screen.
The day itself was what you can expect from a large event (+- 1200 visitors). It was a fun day, with a lot of fun sessions, lots of networking and a nice snack and drink.
This year, for the first time, there was the possibility to do 20 minutes sessions in addition to the usual 50 minutes. This also gave a lot of new speakers with a slightly shorter story the opportunity to be at this event.
The last 3 years I have been on the content panel, so I was also allowed to help with the preselection of the sessions, and now I also had the opportunity to do a session myself.
Since I’m not a seasoned speaker yet, and the nerves went around nicely, it went well (I think). Forgot a few small things in my story, but fortunately that didn’t matter for the flow.
Afterwards I spoke to people who were in the session. of the attendees who had encountered some of the problems that were discussed himself and now also understood why it all worked 🙂 So in that respect, a pure win. Now let’s see what is said in the evaluations.
