Got the below error while opening a Tool in the XrmToolBox.
An error occured when trying to display this tool: Could not load file or assembly ‘XrmToolBox.PluginsStore, Version=1.2022.10.58, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null’ or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
Followed the below steps and resolved this issue.
Step 1: Go to the below path,
C:\Users\<Provide your username>\AppData\Roaming\MscrmTools\XrmToolBox
Step 2: Copy and Paste the Connections and Settings folders on the Desktop or in a different location.
Step 3: Delete all the contents in the below mentioned folder path.
C:\Users\<Provide your username>\AppData\Roaming\MscrmTools\XrmToolBox
Note: Close the XrmToolBox before deleting the contents.
Step 4: Download the latest version of the XrmToolBox.
Step 5: Go to the Downloads folder, extract the XrmToolBox.zip folder and after extraction, double click on the XrmToolBox.exe…
