Two themes in this wave: a mobile app that stops getting in the technician’s way, and bulk editing tools for whoever runs the schedule board. What our write-up covers:
- Mobile performance. Android form loads at least a quarter quicker (April 2026), an optional online mode working against live Dataverse data, and offline sync using tighter filters to cut payload size and timeouts
- Field data capture. A mobile control for posting photos and video straight onto the timeline, a drawer-style Booking Status picker with bigger touch targets, and Simple Lookup to trim taps
- Dispatcher bulk actions. Shift or reassign groups of bookings in one go, cancel individual days of a multi-day booking rather than the whole thing, plus a full-screen schedule board map
- Scheduling Operations Agent. Optimises up to five resources from the board, with ad-hoc runs covering up to 30. Preview June 2026, GA March 2027
- Work orders tied to project tasks, syncing planned dates and feeding time entries into project financials (July 2026)
- Platform-wide changes. Fuzzy and “contains” search with match highlighting, smart paste, AI record summaries in grids, week numbers on the board, and the modern UI as the fixed default
