AI Transformation Leader | Helping organisations move from experimentation to adoption at scale | Microsoft MVP | Governance, Operating Models & Workforce Readiness | EmPOWER Your World
Simon Owen
Technology is rarely the difficult part of transformation. Most organisations can run a pilot, launch a platform or experiment with AI. Far fewer successfully turn those experiments into sustainable organisational capability. That's where I've spent much of my career. I help organisations move from experimentation to adoption at scale through governance, operating models, workforce readiness, capability development and measurable business value. Over the last 25+ years I've worked across manufacturing, life sciences, energy, consumer goods, public sector and consulting, leading transformation initiatives that connect people, process, technology and organisational change. I've helped: • Recover struggling engagements and rebuild stakeholder confidence • Establish governance and operating models for Power Platform and AI solutions • Design scalable enablement and adoption approaches • Lead enterprise transformation programmes and global communities • Shape bids, propositions and transformation narratives • Build capability across customers, partners and consulting organisations Today I work within Capgemini's Cloud & Custom Applications practice, helping organisations explore and operationalise AI Business Solutions, Copilot Studio and Microsoft Business Applications. Alongside this, I am the founder of EmPOWER Your World, an AI transformation ecosystem exploring how organisations become AI-enabled through practical frameworks, open standards, capability development and community-led adoption. [2026-08 Si...Microsoft | Word] I am also a Microsoft MVP, international speaker, blogger and community contributor with a particular interest in: • AI Transformation • Copilot and Agentic AI • Governance and Guardrails • Operating Models • Workforce Readiness • Digital Enablement and Adoption • Community-led Transformation If any of those topics are relevant to what you're working on, I'd be delighted to connect and exchange perspectives.
