This release is a big one for tool capability — deeper Dataverse control, multi-connection support, and a major leap for tool developers.
→ Dataverse user impersonation — select a user to impersonate per tool instance and see when impersonation is active
→ Multi-connection slots — assign tools up to ten positional connection slots, including optional ones, and route requests to the selected environment
→ Batch & transaction support — run independent Dataverse operations in one batch or group writes in an atomic transaction
→ .NET worker process support — tool developers can now bring their existing XrmToolBox DLLs and convert their tools to PPTB without starting from scratch
Plus a refreshed workspace layout with a custom title bar, sidebar controls, full-screen mode, and split-pane tool placement.
