Main focus of the talk is empowering the sales users in Dynamics that always end up being the weak link of data input. Because «your chain will never be stronger than your weakest link», it is important to show how Sales can do a better job by providing simpler tools.
Beginning of talk is a few powerpoints to describe the issue we were facing, and the issue we experience other customers have been facing for many years. I will demonstrate the principal of data not being an infinite loop all of the time. Sometimes we need to think of data input as a process from a to z.
I will then show 3 examples of simplification the powerplatform has given us that have huge impact for data input.
First example is a flow connecting to data open source, and then the same logic for continuous cleaning of data at a monthly or similar basis. All steps will be posted on blog for everyone to use
I will then show how a simple powerapp has given us higher usage binding sharepoint and dynamics people together. Demo of the app and how to build it. «Solution» will be publicly available for anyone to use as a start. I am branding everying i do openly as «Simple Sales» not to bind it to any form of company. Wish to have others help me improve the app in future.
Then I will show how live data from our ERP gives greater value to finding information in CRM. Live example with guide on blog. Everyone will be able to do
