Today, when I was trying to add an existing Email Template to a solution, I got the below error message.
Subcomponent 12722212-7477-Dd11-8139-00223293369c cannot be added to the solution because the root component Template is missing.

Followed the below steps and resolved this issue.
Step 1: Open the Default solution and Search for the Email Template.

Step 2: Click on the record to open it.

Step 3: Email Template was opened in Classic Editor. Click on Actions.

Step 4: Click on Make Template Available to Organization button.

Step 5: Once the changes are updated, web page will be refreshed. Click on Actions and check for the button name changed to Revert to Personal Template.

After this update, added the required Email Template to the required solution and issue was resolved
