Tampa, Florida – July 22, 2014 – Forceworks, in only their third year as a Microsoft Partner, picked up their first Partner of the Year Award for East Region – Compete at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference this week in Washington D.C. Forceworks, based in Tampa, FL, was formerly a Consulting Partner with Salesforce.com and switched to Dynamics CRM Online when Microsoft launched the product just a few years ago. “While Salesforce.com had “owned” the cloud CRM space for many years, we immediately saw the tremendous value for our customers in a CRM platform that natively integrated with the Microsoft productivity software our customers were already using,” said Steve Mordue, CEO of Forceworks.
For a short time, Forceworks supported Salesforce.com and Dynamics CRM Online simultaneously. According to Mordue, “We started to feel disingenuous, as we struggled to find reasons to suggest that Salesforce.com was a better option for any of our customers over Dynamics CRM Online, so we ultimately dropped it. Our customers have been able to meet all of their CRM goals at a much lower all-in cost with Dynamics CRM Online.”
In addition to Dynamics CRM Online, Forceworks also supports other Microsoft Cloud solutions including Office 365, SharePoint Online, Azure and Power BI. “This award was recognition of our commitment to Microsoft’s “Mobile First, Cloud First” strategy, and our success in driving Dynamics CRM Online adoption in particular,” says Mordue. “While Office 365 is Microsoft’s fastest growing product ever, Dynamics CRM Online is the most “transformative” for businesses today.”
Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online is Microsoft’s cloud version of the on-premise enterprise CRM platform. The on-premise Dynamics CRM has been a key technology for many large organizations since it originally launched in 2003. “Make no mistake,” says Mordue. “Microsoft wants you in the cloud. In almost every way, Dynamics CRM Online is a more powerful and capable product than its on-premise counterpart, and that is by design.”
To help “New to CRM” organizations quickly realize the benefits of Dynamics CRM Online, Forceworks recently launched their RapidStart program. According to Mordue, “While there are many business challenges that can be solved with the Dynamics CRM Online “platform”, the RapidStart program has been specifically designed to get new customers up and running within 30 days with the aspect of CRM that many users feel is the most important – generating new sales.”
Forceworks’ CRM customers are equally distributed between “New to CRM” and those who are switching from Salesforce.com and other platforms to Dynamics CRM Online. “Our fastest growing source of new business today is other Microsoft Partners” says Mordue, “Working together with Microsoft, we have been a pioneer in the “Partner to Partner” concept”.
