Dynamics 365 Business Central: automatic PTE unpublishing after update.

Until today, when you have frequent updates of PTEs in a given tenant and you publish version N of your extension, the version N-1 is automatically uninstalled from the tenant and the new version N is published as the active version.

But the version N-1 is not unpublished and sometimes (if you have lazy developers and/or not DevOps practices in place) you can have an horror like the following:

Now things are changing!

Starting from today, in SaaS environments all PTEs that are no longer installed in a tenant will be automatically unpublished after a new version of the PTE has been installed.

Microsoft will automatically unpublish every uninstalled version of the PTE except the version immediately preceding the current installed version.
