AL Development Collection is now available as an official extension on Visual Studio Marketplace for Visual Studio Code. It is an AI-native toolkit for AL developers working with Dynamics 365 Business Central and GitHub Copilot, designed to turn “playing with AI” into a structured, repeatable development workflow.

The extension installs in seconds and deploys a complete set of instructions, agents and workflows into the .github folder of your repository, so GitHub Copilot can immediately rely on shared context, auto-applied coding standards and a complexity-based orchestration approach.
