All of the posts in this series about Sales Accelerator and Sales Sequences have focused on the Sales Hub app so far. That’s great if that’s what you are using, but what about organisations with custom forms or a custom model-driven app? Don’t worry, we can add components that users can take advantage of in other pages. This means your lovely custom forms can still include things like the ‘Up Next’ section that is a pretty key visual for sales sequences. Even better that it’s really easy to do!
First, make sure you are editing the correct form for your table/entity. Here I am going to make some changes so putting them in a solution (for easy visibility and/or moving to other environments).
Edit the form and add in a new 1-column section. Give it the name of Sales Sequence Info (or something logical) so it’s easy to identify later on. You may wish to hide the label as once we add the control, we can’t hide that from saying Up next so you would end up with duplicate labels potentially.
Now look through the components, then the Display section and find the Sequence (Up next) control.
The control will look like this when you are editing it. Nothing for you to modify or change. Save and Publish the form. Job done.
That is it! Now the Up next section will populate for any record connected to a Sequence. Hooray! Told you it was simple!
