Weekly Update #53 – Checking in during some down time This week I have been off work, and although I haven’t went away anywhere on vacation I’ve been taking the time to explore a bit of Scotland and disconnect from social media and work. So it feels very wierd to be checking in on what has been happening with Azure news this week, but here goes. ? During my update I talked about a couple of things, if you want to check them out in more detail here are some links: Cost optimization enhancements now available in Azure Advisor (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/updates/cost-optimization-enhancements-now-available-in-azure-advisor/?WT.mc_id=modinfra-0000-salean) Azure Site Recovery update rollup 49 (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/updates/site-recovery-update-rollup-49-august-2020/?WT.mc_id=modinfra-0000-salean) Azure Policy Compliance Scan Action for GitHub Workflows is in public preview (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/updates/azure-policy-compliance-scan-action-for-github-workflows-is-in-public-preview/?WT.mc_id=modinfra-0000-salean) Although I have been enjoying down time I took the chance to catch up with my good friend Lisa’s (https://twitter.com/lisaattheedge) latest podcast episode, where she speaks to a bunch of people about Azure Stack HCI (https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/products/azure-stack/hci/?WT.mc_id=modinfra-0000-salean) .
