Business Central 2026 Wave 1 adds email delivery, PDF generation, and attachment management for Posted Sales Shipments and Posted Return Receipts.

Introduction

Customer communication often extends beyond invoices. Many organizations need to provide shipment confirmations immediately after products leave the warehouse and share return documentation when goods are received back.

Before this release, users typically relied on manual exports, printing, or custom solutions. Business Central 2026 Wave 1 closes this gap by introducing direct email capabilities for Posted Sales Shipments and Posted Return Receipts.

This enhancement aligns shipment and returns receipt handling with the experience already available for posted invoices and credit memos.
