2024 -> Fast as lightning

"But I have also given myself a goal to try and enjoy life more. Take some more time to discover different countries, learn more for myself and work less than I have in 2023. So, now it is out there, let’s see how it will go 😂"…

This was how I finished the blogpost last year. And I can honestly say that I suck at those resolutions and 2024 was definitely not taking it slow 😁

So this is my 2024 through my eyes:

2024

Community

2024 added heavily to my wall of badges 😁 It started strong with the 2nd edition of Cloud Technology Townhall Tallinn that had record amount of attendees, amazing speakers and even better keynote by Dona Sarkar and Laurie Pottmeyer, 2 women I greatly admire!

From Tallinn the conferences really took off, I managed to be on stage at 2 conferences and 1 user group meetup for the first time ever. And a few others 😉 So here is my community events in numbers:

• Blogposts written: 8
• User group meetups hosted: 14
• Events organized: 3
• Non countable hours spent learning from and enjoying time with amazing community peers.

Work life

Living my life to the fullest as a freelance consultant and I love it. I have had what feels like blood, sweat and tears from some projects and then amazing discoveries and collaborations at others. I would not have it another way 😁

I did promise to try and work less in 2024, that failed. I love what I do and as long as it is like that, the hours I put in are also worth it. I have learned a lot and focused also on topics related to Microsoft 365 and Security in addition to my Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.

Number of times I have been asked about my company name: Endless 😂 It is still one of the best icebreakers 😉

Personal life

I built amazing Lego sets 🤩 And went on a few vacations with family and also had a week in Greece with my husband. Tip: Greece in September is amazing for those that like it warm, but not too hot.
My son learnt how to bike this summer, which was a huge milestone at home.
I had the privilege of visiting many great restaurants with friends, Train concert with my husband and pulled myself together for a boudoir photoshoot just myself 😋

2025

I will be better now and not promise as much for 2025 as I did last year 😅 But I will promise to continue being active in the Microsoft community and events, develop myself and continue on with 502nm, visit a few new countries and spend as much time with my family as I can!
