In this video, I walk through my favorite scheduling updates in D365 Field Service and explain how they can help dispatchers and schedulers work more efficiently. From moving and reassigning multiple bookings with just a few clicks to a new full-screen Map view, week numbers, partial booking cancellations, and enhancements to the Scheduling Operations Agent (SOA), there's a lot to unpack.
I also share my thoughts on one of the biggest questions coming out of this release: Could the Scheduling Operations Agent eventually replace Resource Scheduling Optimization (RSO)?
